Meet the Team

Gaurav

Hi, my name is Gaurav and I go to Finn Hill Middle School. I want to be in FTC because I think it could be an interesting learning experience. I can learn what types of items work where, how different types of wheels work, and how the code works to move all of the mechanisms we put on the robot. I can meet new people and make some more friends. My area of interest for this project is building the robot. I want to do this because I think I have some ideas on some of the robots parts and I want to know how to build many of the electronics on the robot. I want to have a career as an Airforce pilot because I have always loved planes.

Swetha

Hello! My name is Swetha Mandaleeka and I am currently a 7th grader at Redmond Middle School. I have done FLL for 3 years, this being my first time doing FTC. I enjoy both programming and building, having done a little bit of both. I ampart of the building team and helped build the wobble goal, until recently when I switched to programming. I'm really looking forward to competing this year.

Dharsan

My name is Dharsan Veerapandian, and I am an 8th grader at Skyview MS. I have never done FTC/FLL. This is the first time I’m participating in this tournament. I want to do FTC because I want to improve my knowledge on programming and CAD. I started coding/ programming at Bothell Robotics club. The more I learned about it, the more I enjoyed it.

Anvi

Hi! My name is Anvi and I’m an 8th grader at Skyview Middle School. I have done FTC for a year. I want to continue to do FTC because I’m always building things. I love playing with legos, and in any free time I get, I will most likely sit down and create something new. Building new things and experimenting has always been one of my passions, and I hope participating in FTC will grow those passions into a greater ambition. I also love coding and engineering, and this tech challenge seems to include a lot of that, so why not? I also have an EV3 at home, and building and coding that was a lot of fun. Also, I got to use power tools last year, and that was very cool. I’m interested in programming the robot this year because I will get more experience, but I would also be fine with building it. When I grow up I want to go to UW to maybe study chemical engineering. I have been fond of working with chemicals and experimenting since I got a microscope when I was 9. Pretty much any career where I can be creative is fine with me though.

Amogh

What's Up. My name is Amogh Babu. I'm in 9th grade at North Creek High School. I love robotics, especially the mechanical design of it. I have done FTC for 2 years, and done FLL for a long time before that. I first got interested in robotics when I was gifted a EV3 lego mindstorms kit for Christmas when I was a kid. I spent hours putting the legos together and programming them to do cool things. I'm really passionate about what I do. One of the favorite builds that I have made is a piano playing robot that I made when I was young for a piano recital. I even remade it with my sister a year ago! I hope I can go to a good technology focused college and build a company of my own.

Inchara

Hi! My name is Inchara Chetan and I am currently a 10th grader at North Creek High School. This is my first year participating in FTC. I have engaged in both programming and engineering the robot and enjoys doing both
